Alarm!

Featured Replies

Over the last couple of hours my alarm has gone off at least 20 times!!!!!

Doing my nut!!

Even been for a 10mile drive with all windows open and blowers on full to try and blow air right around inside the car!!!!

All doors have been opened and closed,

Not sure what to do next,

Ideas??

Had the same problem on mine, turned out to be faulty interior sensors.

For now just turn the inside sensors off (button on the pillar by the drivers seat) and then get it checked out at the dealer when you can.

Do you have to press this button everytime you lock the car? Or does it disable the interior sensor until you press it again?

With the Superb every time you lock vehicle .It automatically resets on unlocking.

I believe you have to press it everytime you lock the car.

Well the RAC have been, unfortunatly he wasn't a "VW" tech, as they don't work after 7pm!

Managed to do a scan on his generic testbook, but he said it's not as good as the VW testbook.

So i have 01135 interior monitering sensers, no signal intermittant

and 01134 alarm horn (H12), no signal intermittant

So as it stands, it looks like a trip to Sherlodge on Monday.

Well got my car back today, they had it in overnight as they had to order new interior sensers and i got them to carry out a couple of other non urgent bits while it was in.

So job done, another  for Sherlodge Garage.

My car is going in on the 31st for exactly the same issue - although mine isn't going off as often as yours was.

I'm told it will either be a faulty interior sensor or the sensitivity is set to high.
