I HAVE THE BAR AND THE SUPERB AND WAS WONDERING,

THE PART NO IS A BIT RUSTY SO I CANT CROSS REF WITH ANY DEGREE OF CERTAINTY

ANY RECOMMENDATIONS WILL BE MUCH APPRECIATED

The one I fitted was the same as "old shape" Passat, search some of the older threads on theses forums, there are a few that deal with fitting towbars.

BTW please ease up on the CAPITALS, as said before its seen as shouting.

Yes it will, I bought a Westfalia removable towbar for my Superb and when it came it had "Passat" cast in to the side of the removable swan neck

I fitted a Bosal towbar for a Passat to my Superb - no problems at all. About £70 delivered complete with wiring kit.

i will be having a go at it monday week,

just one thing, will it affect the rear reversing sensors at all ?

I fitted a Tow Trust one to mine. Several T20 or T25 Torx screws in the wheel arch liner, few more on the underside of the bumper, take the rear light clusters out (four 8mm nuts holding them on, each side) reveals another torx screw under each light, then (ideally with two people) slide the bumper toward you. Took me 2hrs in total including all the wiring for the 12n and 12s socket, but depends on your experience level I suppose.

Occasionally my reversing sensors will beep even when I'm not close to anything, since fitting the bar, but it is once in a blue moon!
