Does anyone know if there are any uprated replacement suspension bushes that are just plain black and not bright yellow/purple/ble/orange etc ? (I dont want any upgrades or modifications to be noticable)

I cant remember where ive read this (or if Im dreaming) but can someone confirm if the Fabia VRS rear suspension bushes are uprated and compatible with lower spec Octavias ?? - more rubber and smaller gaps in the bush - making it firmer I think.

Yes, you can use the Fabia vRS rear bushes on the octy. I have them on mine, and the fit right in (With a press). You can also use the Audi TT or Leon Cupra R wishbone bushes on the fron too. These don't have any holes in the rubber, and make the steering more responsive. Again, I have these on mine.

Are the Octavia VRS rear bushes the same dimensions and direct swap for the lower spec 1.6 ones?

(Also are the VRS front wishbones the same as those on the 1.6?)

The wishbones and rear beam are exactly the same on the 1.6 as they are on the vRS. No point putting vRS ones one though, as they are the same. You need Fabia vRS rear beam bushes and audi tt front wishbone rear bishes.
