Been a member for a while... Just thought I say Hello!

Brought Fabia Vrs brand new in 2006 and still going strong after 186K miles obviously a fantastic piece of equipment. Currently in need of 2 front wheel bearings :(

Best Regards,

Ted.

Long time lurker hey! 1 post in 5 years emoticon-0140-rofl.gif

Decent amount of mileage, and not bad going on the original wheel bearings really. Suppose you have to allow for a certain amount of wear & tear when you get to that mileage :)

Wow that must be some sort of record?, not sure if a 'welcome' is the right thing to say, but welcome to posting anyway! :giggle:

Must be a record in terms of Skoda mileage per number of Briskoda posts too! :p

:D

Now at 192K and it was wasn't the front wheel bearings, it turned out to be noisy directional tyres! As for what goes wrong at this mileage... Inner tie rods on steering rack have failed :(

Thought I would make 2 posts in 5 and bit years :D

Ted.

Your average is improving all the time ;)

Not bad going that really, for the mileage covered. Proof, as if it were needed, that cars preferred to be driven than left parked up

Welcome to the forum! :D

Anything that you want to know tuning wise by all means give me a shout :)

Mike
