breather hose

Featured Replies

i get my new breather hose tomorrow from viper performance.i was just wandering how all it will take me to change this part?also what does this breather hose do?my sound like a stupid question but i haven't a clue about cars...

Assuming it is the upper hose with y split shape, it should take no more than 10 mins and suggest fitting proper jubilee clips on aswell once you have removed the old clips.

Will leave the next bit to someone else

Yup Y pipe takes 5 mins just needs new hose clips. Got a viper one on mine and was impressed with it

I think I may need the Viper Y hose, but what diameter clips do I need and am best getting Mikalor? Thanks!

They're about 20-25mm diameter IIRC so you should be ok with any clips that adjust from 30mm to under 20.

When trying for the lower pipe, try removing the battery. That should give you better access with bigger tools.
