Retrofit cruise on new Octavia

Featured Replies

Is there anywhere I can get cruise control fitted on a new 2011 1.6 MPI (petrol) Octavia? If it makes any difference I have Maxidot. The dealer tell me they cannot do it.

My local main dealer retrofitted this for me on 2 different cars I bought from them. I recently enquired how much it would be for my current car and was quoted £250 fitted. Ben @ Shark Performance also offers this service and is considerably cheaper than the main dealer.

I have found a couple of places that will fit them to older TDI Octavias but not to newer petrol models. Any idea why that should be :wonder: ?

Thanks - I have sent an e-mail. Do you mind telling me what your quote was?

I wanted it fitting on mine (only 6 weeks old 1.6 mpi) but dealer couldnt do it because Skoda have not released the kit yet. Also beware of non skoda garages doing it using other parts ie non skoda because apparently this will invalidate your warranty as they have to fiddle around with the engine management computer.
