Vrs Estate Photos At Last!

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone,

Sorry it's been so long but finally I've got around to taking some pictures of our new(ish) vRS Estate.

They can be found at:

What do you think? I still think Black is the best colour for the vRS Estate - I've seen it in Red and Silver, but Black is best! :p

The car is going very well - no problems to report so far! :D

Cheers,

Rob.

Looks certainly the bits Rob!

Nice looking that. I think thats the first vRS estate I've seen... *racking brain. Yep, definitely the first.

Hope you're not in Swansea, Rob. Worst place in all of Britain for car-crime, and that beast you've got would certainly attract some unwanted attention! Its also bad for lazy, drunk students from Devon, but I've graduated now, so that particular problem has subsided.. :D

Hi Jason,

No I'm not in Swansea! The wife works near there, however, so I make her take our P-reg mondeo!

Hi Rob - great choice of car - and colour ;)

Your tail lights look different to mine, they look more red - are they std with the 03 vRS or have you got like a protector film over them or something?

P.S. The Red and Silver vRS estates I have seen were not on the road - the silver one was at last year's Network Q Rally on a Skoda stand at the service park (where I decided I wanted one!) and the red one was at the dealer in Cardiff where I got ours from.

I have not yet seen another vRS Estate on the road yet - plenty of hatches though.

No Dave, its all standard with no film or anything. It must be my special 'Only Fools & Horses' novelty sponge that I use to clean the car!

Thats the difference in MY'03 and MY'02... Subtle eh? :)

Nice pics!

I'll be sure to  if I see you....

Rear tail lamps look the same as my previous 2000 W reg Octy estate.

Remember the lamps are arranged slightly differently on the estates and the lense style is also different.

H/B have distinct red/white/red/white whlist the estate are predominatly more red with the thin white/clear strips.

Definately thought the estate rear lamp looked better than pre-face lift h/b rear clusters (sorry Rob M.;) ).

nice looking car... saw my first vRS estate last night (Clarey)

A very nice looking Estate, Rob. Pity the best colours are reserved for the rest of the Octavia range. If that hasn't upset you, can I have first shout for your rear spoiler when you decide to go for something a bit more in fashion for the vRS? :D

I like my spoiler and I'm keeping it!

Even though I love the car in black the one thing that did surprise me when I bought it was the restricted colour range for the vRS - I may well have gone for a green colour had it been available.

My other option would have been a custom paint job with 'How much did you pay for your TT?' in big letters down the side of the car!:D

Rob.

Nice choice of car and colour (think mine looks quite similar) and they get better the more you drive them :D .
