It's all in the Badge

Featured Replies

They say it's all in the badge, and I would agree, wearing the emerald disk with pride.

Hi all

Just a quick post to thank all you regular posters for the help and advice you've been sharing, been browsing the forum for nearly two years now while I weighed up the pros n cons of a Skoda, did the same with Audi and VW, and Skoda won by quite a margin I must admit.

Bought myself a candy white Octavia VRS FSI on a march 2007 plate, 51k on the clock with all the extras including a sunroof (don't see many of those) and loving it.

Never thought a Skoda could turn heads but I've been proved wrong and still enjoying the random person walking up in supermarket car parks asking questions and admiring the car, this badge is desirable thats for sure.

My previous car was a Seat Altea FR TDI, lovely car but nothing compared to the Skoda, nor was the Audi A4 S line I test drove, the new VW scirocco was, well was a little out my price range but still don't think it has what the Octavia VRS has to give (space, and plenty of it), there's just that something about owning a Skoda with a little extra surprise under the hood.

So yea, thank you all for helping me to make a great decision, much appreciated.
