Showroom shine

Featured Replies

I have just seen this Showroom shine on the tv and it looks good, has anyone tried it and if so is it any good.

Showroom shine

I bought some and it provides a good, quick and easy way of polishing. As you will be aware you can use it on all surfaces, including glass. The rain certainly beads off it. However I only use it after washing the car. I am dubious about the virtue of "polishing" dirt away.

I think it's good and will buy some more when my stocks run out.

Been using it for 2 years now. Excellent stuff.

As Kev says...never used it on a dirty car, always washed it first.

DO NOT use it on windscreens.

Also good for mirrors in the home and high gloss kitchen cabinet doors !

I ordered the BOGOF pack this morning...

It is good stuff. Just can't get excited about polish

It's great stuff, but as the others say, don't use it on a dirty car as they do on the shopping channels! It'll cause severe swirl marks and damage to your paint.

For best results, wash the car and use the Showroom Shine with microfibre cloths. Also bear in mind that it isn't really a polish - more of a 'Quick Detailer'. Polishes generally contain abrasives to restore a car's paintwork - Showroom Shine is more of a gloss-enhancing, protecting product in my eyes. So all in all, it's great and very easy to use (if a tad messy) but always wash the car first :)
