Motor squeaks when the trouble and strife gets in the passenger side (with much teasing :giggle: )

Front arb bushes, or something else?

Cheers in advance...

rock the car to be 100% shore as it could be the seat itself :-)

Definitely not the seat. It's certainly something on the suspension, I just wanted to know where to start.

I Need to look at it quite properly soon anyways, as it's about time I gave her a major service, and possibly cam-belt (52,000 on the clock). But the car rocks and dives too much for the wife really and it makes her feel sick. So I need to either cure that, or go back to driving Volvo's.

Sounds like arb.

Does it happen if the hand-brake is off?

My car makes a creaking noise if the hand brake is on and you get into the car. Its the rear pads giving a little on the disc, the soution is to just put the handbrake on a bit tighter.

Worth a check I guess :)

I used to get a creek / squeak from the passenger side when going over speed bumps, was a knackered ARB bush.

They're adjusted up okay, that's for certain, but I do get the occasional brake noise when pulling away if it's been sat overnight, so I'm going to want to overhaul the brakes too I guess. The creak is definitely coming from the front left though.

Okay, so, assuming arb, new standard bushes? Or something else? I don't want to end up spending a fortune on what is to be a runaround (I have a bike for going nutty), but I DO need to improve the ride somewhat.
