Final run from Sunday! Risto Poutianen beating the previous 314mph record by 3mph, and into a headwind too! First time I've ever been to top-fuel and it was awesome! Great weekend!

Was the time any quicker, same or slower?

How does that compare to a rocket powered dragster?

I had a go in the Rockingham V8 NASCAR-type car on the weekend. Mental, passed Astons, Ferrari 360s etc like they were standing still.

This is a clear second or more faster than the rocket car goes down - 4.7 seconds as opposed to around 5.7 seconds for the Fireforce jet car.

Found this video from onboard. Amazing how much they actually move side to side in the lane in a run! Those little front tyres look like they do sod all!
