Hi all, I would like to find out if the FL vRS hatch and Combi share the same rear tail light parts?

I was looking at Dectane's LED tail lights and they stated that it was for the Combi and RS. So wasn't too sure if it will fit. I have written to them but haven't gotten a respond for over a week!

Yes, they will fit the FL Hatch, I've got some on order myself.

Only problem is stock - I've had mine ordered since March!

Yes, thats the one. I am thinking of getting the smoke/red one. Have you already paid for them since they are on backorder? Any time estimate on when you will expect them?

I've gone for the Crystal ones as I personally feel they look closest to OEM.

But some of the Smoke pictures I've seen are nice.

I was rather upset to see that they did take my money when I placed the order - so they have had my money for about two months now!

Estimated delivery keeps on changing, however at the moment it says "Available from Week 23" which should be Monday 6th June.

But I can't get an estimate directly out of the company.

I'll give it another month and then consider getting the money back and actually waiting for them to appear in stock.

AFAIK:

- There's no change in rear light shape from pre-FL to FL (FL rear lights suit preFL version without problems).

- There's no difference in shape between regular and VRS rear lights.

- Hatch and combi rear lights are not the same shape (hatch vs. combi)

Considering everything above - Combi rear light will not fit VRS hatch (regardless of FL / preFL version).

Let us know when you get them.

Yes - you are quite correct and I thank you for taking more time to read the page than I did!!

I could have sworn that when I ordered these back in March they listed both Combi and Hatch - but the ones I've linked to are indeed for Estate/Combi only.

I shall drop them a line later and cancel the order - bit off them taking the money back in March, but anyway I'll cancel before they get stock.
