I have now attempted to sort out the water ingress problem in my 03 Superb and have gone through as many of the nodes in the front passenger footwell as I can see - all of the connections were 'green' so have cut the wires back and replaced and re joined etc. But the only electrical bits I have an issue with are still not functioning - the interior lights still dont opearte when the doors are opened although they work manually and the footwell lights work and the puddle led's still dont work. I have removed the comfort unit as I was told this may need drying out bet there is no sign of water ingress or discolouration to the terminals etc. Is there something obvious that I may have missed. Are the connections for the interior lights elsewhere?

All sorted. Managed to trace the offending cables at the rear passenger seat and got it without seat removal etc. Patiently awaiting darkness now to finally see a lit Superb interior
