Hi All

This may have been reported on another thread but today I saw what I'm sure was a 2 tone SM on a transporter. It had a black bottom half and white top half and rear door (couldn't see the bonnet as it was on the top deck!). I suppose it could've been white protective film on the top half but it looked like paint! I didn't have my phone on me at the time so couldn't get a photo (and I was driving). Anyone got an answer? :wonder:

Sounds like the factory transit protection to me?

Oh also have one for the new Yeti but that's white on white

White and silver cars are the only cars in a factory that do not get factory protection like this whilst moving about the factory. Why silver? Who knows. But that is what Audi told us when I went to the factory in Neckersulm.

Obviously Skoda disagree with Audi, the Ice Cube came all wrapped up but you have to be a hawk-eye to spot the difference although the white wrapping over the A,B & C pillars give it away.

Guess it only applies IN the factory!
