Anyone fitted Ibiza Cupra 312mm Brembo/AP's?

Featured Replies

Anyone?

I haven't heard of anyone using them but the calipers are supposed to be huge !

Not fitted them to a Fabia although have fitted them to Ibiza etc.

agree with R1chard - calipers are really wide, which limits 17" wheel options even more than brembos. I guess this is why more people opt for the brembo gt kit (Leon Cupra R) rather than the APs from the Ibiza Cupra.

Fab_z_kola_3.jpgThey easily fit but need bigger spacers than for brembos as they are alot wider.

What spacers are you using with the spiders ?

Or a 7.5' wheel with a lower offset?

There not mine. But by looks of it a good 20mm. They dont exactly look big either, if your wanting bigger brakes go Brembo.

Brembos require a 15mm spacer to fit behind spiders.... :(

if you're wanting bigger brakes, go Brembo and don't use 17" spiders.

Is that the smallest you can go? Deffo :-(

Yes brembo's with spiders give 1mm clearance with 15mm spacers

Best using alloys that dont req. Spacers

Ones i know

S3 avus

Tt 6 spokes

Tt comps

All 7.5j iirc
