Unless you are going for big power it's not really needed.

I wanted to keep mine standard, but had to go for a "bigmouth" to get the airflow required so that it works for extended periods at track days and makes close to 270bhp.

Can't say I'm a big fan of the look, but done properly they look OK and blend in with the car syling quite well.

Mine has a black mesh across the front with a steel strengthening rod to give it the correct shape.

Overall I'm happy with it. It doesn't stand out as overly modified too much.

The front plate is on a couple of ties and velcro, so it can be taken off before going on the track.

On the road it doesn't effect the power as it's just short bursts, not flat out for extended periods. The intercooler stays nice and cool.

isnt necessary imo...

Pointless unless you have fmic!!

Depends on what the rest of the styling is like, can look pretty mean

truthfully not my cup of tea can only see the point if the car requires large amounts of front intake cooling.

Fmic is req to pull it off and lots of bhp

I don't think it suits a black fabia but the rest I would go for. Ice just cut out my crash bar an put some holes behind the reg plate if I want to take it off

Ice = ive
