Hi there! I'm new to the forum so hope someone can help. The reversing sensors on my Octavia Elegance Estate (2007) seem to have a mind of their own. But most of the time they just sound continuously once you put the car into reverse. Any suggestions please?

I've tried cleaning the sensors. Sometimes it works properly but most of the time they just sound which is infuriating and renders them useless.

Welcome to Briskoda, sounds like you hjave a faulty sensor. you need to disconnect them one by one n put car in reverse each time until beeping stops, obviously ensure plenty of clearance around rear of car. (friend of mine did this while reversed up his drive n too near wall LOL)
