Featured Replies

Here is our Top of the range 2L Rav4.2 xt5

Due to my Wife changing jobs we are now in the market for a People Carrier or small family diesel depending on career choice. We have owned this Rav since 18/11/2009 and had a Full AA Inspection carried out at the time, The AA Inspection will be included although we are more than happy for an up-to date one to be carried out (at your expense). The car is Finance Free and we also have a copy of the HPI form from the dealer we bought the car from.

The car hasn't been faultless and is great fun to drive (especially in the snow), the 4wd is a very capable system and has not seen us get stuck.

The only fault the car has had since owning it was the passenger rear door switch sometimes didn't register that the door was open and was fixed by removing it/cleaning it & re-fitting :)

There is no Cambelt to replace as this engine uses a Timing Chain.

Bad Bits

x The spare wheel cover is cracked

x There is a chip/small crack in the lower right of the windscreen, it has been like that since we bought the car and it has passed 2 MOT's like it

x Small dent in the silver trim on the front passenger door

x Squeel when turning right at full lock, have been told by Toyota this is the CV boot and is not a problem hence us not spending money to stop the squeel.

This car is 6 Years old and as such does show signs of wear and tear, the previous owners appear to have used a car wash and has a lot of swirl marks on the paint.
