Yes they are supposed to have serviced it, but only a minor one so effectively just an oil change. I certainly dont remember any of these things when test driving it the other week.

I had a quick look earlier in the week, the larg engine cover was just dirty, but of the general grey road dirt! it seem to be just around the front bodywork, grille and air intake, but as all the plastic is black i didnt notice anything else.

I mean the fuel economy isnt too bad, fuel light just come on and still reacons i can do 70 miles having done about 430miles i think, as didnt reset mileometer at beginning of week. And as i do 55 miles each way not sure i want to risk it tonite!

Chris;

I've read differing things about what superchips do. Did you have the air filter at the time, and did they adjust the map to suit? i've read that some will just use there 'standard' map rather than tayloring it for peoples cars.

Yes would have been standard map.

No air filter was fitted after map.

430 miles :eek: you wana try running an octy i forgot how good mpg was in furby.

As for trip computer i used to find that quite accurate

As mentioned above have you looked for signs of leaks under bonet.

Just thinking of doing some tests to work out whats best for my use, As on the motorways it feels abit weak from 1000-2000rpm which is where it tends to sit.Maybe running with a standard air filter, as i dont tend to rev it too much, cant say it goes above 3k rpm much, or even running with the Cupra intake.

Photo's and inspection of engine bay will have to wait till the weekend i'm afraid. Dont have a camera handy, too dark when i get back home about 6.30pm. But i will have a look when its starts, while in the carpark before i leave from work.
