Anyone managed to pair a Blackberry Torch with the Bluetooth in the vRS?

I can get mine to connect if I search from the phone BUT NOT if the car searches when the ignition is on

Any ideas??

I have just switched to a Torch and connected with my 2011 vRS with the GSMIII+ without a problem - I initiated the pairing from the car with ignition on - the only thing I had to do with the Torch was to switch it to discoverable in the bluetooth menu.

I have a sim pin on and got the car to store that so it doesn't ask for it every time it connects to the device.

(also just paired it with the superb I have as a courtesy car today the same way)

Then when the torch was disconnected I have marked my car kit as trusted in the bluetooth connections device properties so it just connects without asking to connect

(sorry just spotted you were talking about Fabia not Octavia - not sure what BT the Fabia has - comments may not be helpful after all)

Did you try what Dominocdp suggested and ensure your phone was discoverable first?

I was having troubles with my Nexus S until I noticed that it wasn't discoverable. Works perfectly now for media, phone book, calls, battery info.

Well....I got it working.

I disconnected the wife's connection first

BUT my wifes would re-connect then!!!

So took mine back off off and got hers going again

I give in

Seems that the car doesnt like both mobiles!!
