Hello all

Just to say that after reading this site for many months I felt I had to join in. I am now driving my second Skoda Octavia [1.9tdi Ambiente] after 3 happy years with a 1.6 Ambiente, which I had from new. Would have had another new one but 3month old demo with 17" alloys and sports suspension made my mind up as saving was good. A few probs but all in hand so waiting to see what after sales is like. Never had probs with after sales before so not worried at the moment. Skoda have got another winner with this model !

Hi steve,

Yes its a mark2 ,Graphite Grey, Onyx interior. Looks smart if I say so myself! Just noticed the air bag warning light has come on all the time,still going back to dealer (Freebourne's) monday morning so they can look at that then.

Have any members carried out a cam belt replacement on a diesel mk3 Octavia VRS themselves? If so, how difficult would it be for a driveway DIY'er to do and what advice could you provide. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

All the subframes on ebay are for mk3 does anyone know if the mk2 and mk3 use the same rear subframe thank you

Hi all, long time since I've been on here as touch wood have been enjoying many issue free miles in my Octavia. Last week whilst returning home from a local trip I suddenly got a warning light and a chime, Error: ABS/stabilisation control (ESC) several second later I got another, Error: Tyre Pressure Monitoring System several seconds later, another... Hi all, Sorry to be a pest. My old man bought a '12 plate 2.0 Diesel S back in 2019. He has enjoyed owning the car but no longer needs it for the flexibility it offered as he's retired and uses the car less and less (he used it like a little van). Ive been tasked with selling it.
