Nice...

I don't suppose Skoda will start offering the modified VRs for sale will they? ;)

I bet someone on here could better lol

well what do you need for 400bhp?

400BHP? That would wipe the floor with my boss's S4 :)

well what do you need for 400bhp?

not that much, big turbo kit, intake, exhaust, intercooler, uprated clutch and a custom map!

Meh, I'd take it ;)

You would indeed, Harry :)

May I suggest a brake upgrade to go with that :)

In all seriousness, it's nice to seem them doing something a little bit potty like this. They could have just stuck a crappy badge and a wheel upgrade on a hundred cars and called it a limited edition......

A few months ago someone posted a link to a Greek Octavia apparently pumping out 500bhp with four wheel drive although there wasn't much detail on the modifications to get the power up to that level from what I recall.

John

You're right John. Apparently it was running Quattro off an 8P S3. I'd love to know more about how this was achieved.

Didnt JBS make a 600bhp octy vrs a few years ago?

There is a Finnish bloke apparently getting 550 BHP out of a MB 606 diesel, all 2.5 litres of it.

So whats special about 400BHP outta an ould (=new) petrol

Sniff!

Have you seen what Ben can do with the diesel version

That's next...

I would imagine for this exercise, having custom long gearing is more essential than having mega power? They are geared for 160mph odd as stock I think, so with 200 or 400 its just a matter of how quickly it gets there. I bet they have thought about the gearing already though. :D

At the end of the day it will all be down to aerodamics....
