fabia mk1 glovebox door

hi my mk1 fabia glove box door has started to come away from the inner part of the door i dont know why all i know is that they are bonded together with glue from the factory has any else on her encountered this ? any way is their a way you can take off the glove box door and re-glue back together if so which way does the two pins on the hinge come out inwards or outwards

thanks for the reply tried to glue it back together but the loctite glue had a chemical reaction and turned the plastic white i took a trip out to the breakers and they had one but the lid was badly scratched and that was also comming away (must be a common fault?) so i decided to have a closer look at mine and you can take it off from the hinges just push the plastic flap in and slide the pins inwards so got one on order with the dealers not cheap about £40 +vat

About 6 months ago on my door,it would not open because the latch had come apart.I managed to split the door sides,repair the sliding opening ratchet ,and reglue the two sides with UHU plastic glue.I had to clamp the two halves with G clamps,while the glue dried.As a precaution I put two panel pins in each end (not seen when door closed),to support the glue. I believe the two pins you mention,slide towards each other to take the door off.The original sides are joined by ultrasonic friction welding.
