58 reg Octavia Elegance Estate, 18k miles

I've owned this car since new (purchased December 2008) and it's just developed a trivial, but irritating, problem: all audio, whatever the source, coming from one speaker (the one closest to the driver's door handle), is now severely distorted. This is something that's only just started and without apparent reason. My first very naive question is whether this is something likely to be covered by the warranty and, if not (which I suspect is probable), whether anyone has any advice? I'm rubbish at anything resembling DIY and the entire car would undoubtedly fall apart, if I laid a finger on it. Is it the kind of thing that's repairable and, if so, any suggested places (if not a chain, then I'm near Grantham in Lincolnshire.)

Sounds like the speaker had gone in the door handle has gone. From what I've read quite easy to remove and replace will see if I can find page with it on.
