NEW MEMBER SO HOPE YOU GUYS AND GALS CAN HELP.

JUST GOT A OCTAVIA S REG AND ALL WAS WELL TILL LAST FRIDAY IT STOPPED ON THE ROADSIDE,JUST CONKED OUT

AA CAME OUT TRIED TO FIX IT NO JOY.TOOK IT A FRIENDS LOCKUP HE HAD A LOOK AND CAME UP WITH THESE CONCLUSIONS

NO DESIL COMMING THROUGH THE PUMP CHECKED THE THINGY ON THE PUMP NO POWER(RAN A CABLE FROM BATTERY TO IT AND IT CLICKS)

THE BATTERY WAS ONLY HOLDING 11 AND AFTER AN ALL NIGHT CHARGE CONKED OUT AFTER 5 ATTEMPS TO START.

CAN ANY 1 HELP PLEASE

First off get a new battery, they should be at least 12 volts. Have you tried finding someone with VCDS, the box you plug into the diagnostic socket, to try and find if there is a fault code logged?

A healthy battery should show over 13 volts!

As previously suggested VCDS should provide the answer.
