Just a wee hi to all from me teddyeye (tdi!)

Weve had our Fabia TDi elegance for 5 and a half years now with no trouble

Now the power steering was leaking - tried that Lucas stop leak - felt very light but still leaked. Took the plunge and replaced it with a recon unit off Fleabay for Â£125 plus post - excellent service and product. Now the steering is acting up as mentioned in forum regarding "light on". When switched off it resets and is ok till a random turn it will reoccur. Going to try cleaning the angle sensor.

Also the heated seat on drivers side has failed - eventually stopped working on 1,2,3,4 then 5 was all that worked - now dead - tried new switch - still dead - my wife wants to change our 60k on clock car because seat doesnt work! - any suggestions?

Very confused and apologies if covered elsewhere but can't find it... looking to get a towbar fitted for caravan towing and an independent towbar company is warning about coding and about the rear emergency braking kicking in and not letting me reverse with the caravan in place. Another has said they can fit a towbar but I'd need to take it to a dealer to get it coded. I've contacted my local skoda dealer and they've quoted £1900 for a towbar to be fitted!! Hi, I own a Skoda Superb 3 – it was manufactured in last months of 2020 and it is 2021 model year. I see that everyone on the forum started the updates from at least 0278 software version and I have (I suspect because of first facelift batch) currently 0270 software and I want to update it to 0330. My device is 3V0035816E, hardware H22 and software 0270, Poland. I’ve found a “path” to 0324 form 0278 (0278 -> 0306 -> 0308 -> 0324) downloaded software for my device version:

Hey up, If anyone is jacking up their car soon are you able to take pictures of exactly where you put the trolley jack (pictures of the jack and any pucks used would be amazing) And where you put the axle stands. MOT today with a couple of advisory but also yet another broken front spring. Thats seven now in two years on my cars. Sounds a daft question but wondered if anyone has changed front shocks without removing hub. Was wondering if both wheels were off ground with car on axle stands would there be enough play to drop knuckle enough to separate and remove shocks. Alasdair

After dropping a wodge on the Outback for a new battery only for the tailgate issues to immediately recur and funnily enough for a internet search to suddenly (wasn't before) flag that there is a persistent and long standing Subaru issue with a parasitic battery drain via the telematics module. Basically the car continually tries to phone home and drains the battery, the tailgate control module is acutely sensitive to voltage meaning that if the car has sat for more than a day (sometime less) th
