Well, officially joining the Skoda fraternity

Joined the site a couple of years ago when considering an Octavia Vrs, but ended up getting a BMW 123d.

Have just put a deposit down on a '04 Fabia Vrs though for my better half to learn to drive in - and will be getting rid of the 123 (nothing wrong with it, but 2 sensible cars in the household is too much)

Looking forward to whizzing around - taken a while to find a straight unmolested car - but have always been a fan of nippy small hatches (had 2 Lupo Gtis in the past) But have found one locally, 2 owners, full history (incl Cambelt), cruise & 6CD, recent tyres... what could go wrong Oh, and it's Red, bored of grey/black cars

Now, where's the link telling me how to clean water stains off the light coloured seats....

Hi guys so the bcm on my 09 octavia left the chat recently and I had an auto electric place code in a second hand one for me . The issue I'm having now is when i select side lights the actual side lights only the filament is glowing and the drl in the fogs illuminate. The car never had the drls working prior to the bcm replacement and thr car lock never chirped either. Another issue I have is both door mirrors aren't working and I tries to replace them with an aftermarket set but still no luck.

Since I had the car, every time I drove it, it has had what my wife called a rattling from the doors. I always characterised it as a creak. As the car is otherwise so quiet (especially when on battery at slow speed) it was quite noticable.
