Looking for some pics and opinions of cars with 19's on with coilovers or just lowered!

The reason im asking is i have two sets of wheels ive aquired, lamborghini gallardo wheels, original and four origianl 19 Porsche Boxster S wheel but two sets of fronts!

Just wondered if they will look too big for the car and if being lowered it they will fit with the coilovers ive got?

Here's a pic of my car on when it was on 8x19 with 215/35/19 which imo aren't too bad on an octy as long as you lower it a fair bit

Yeah mine is lowered a fair bit thats why i was worried with the clearance!

Clearance will depend on the width and et of the rims and the tyres you are going to use and how much you lower it,my coils where all the way down at the front but with the helper springs still in when that pic was taken and I used to catch the inner wheelarch on full lock and the o/s driveshaft would rub on the chassis leg when turning left but this was sorted with spacers and a chassis notch but if you don't want to start butchering then just lower it to the point your happy with and that you still have clearance

Just presumed that with coilovers like I have also!

They would be too big!

8x19 BBS's end offset works out et30 with 215/35/19s

They actually look nice, make the brakes look tiny though lol

I do kinda fancy some tasty brakes but babber 2 is due and i spent everything else on the wheels

So brakes are now sat on the todo list

Its the rear that get me! even the VRS rears are quite small

Was looking a a 335d BMW the other day and the rears on that must have been 330mm they were as big as the fronts just less pad area!

Not much you can do with the Mk4 Platform without spending enough to buy a small Afghan village!

Indeed lol ecs tunning list some upgrades to the rear but money into the octy pot has to slow now ish

But to be fair the braking on the rear is enough for the octy, its just the fact that the discs are tiny lol
