VRS PD stalls

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've got a VRS PD with a remap and the DPF removed.

Sometimes while stoping for a junction of traffic light and shifting down the gears till second, and pressing the clutch to standstill, the engine stalls.

Everything else keeps working and just the battery sign on the dash is lit up. The enginge starts after this whitout any problem. This occurs randomly

When I do a readout of the errors, I get the error 0000 'static short circuit to the positive'whit the time stamp of the read out.

There are also 2 errors, one from the wiper engine and one from the rainsensor, while these are working ok.

Has somebody experienced this before?

I had a few random stalls before quite a while back now and never got to the bottom of it. It happened about 3 times all in all. Hasn't happened in months now so not overly concerned.

Could it be that one of the dpf sensors is causing this?

It occurs more when I am driving economical.

Greets,

Kevin

What map are you running, and how has the DPF function been removed?

What map are you running, and how has the DPF function been removed?

It has 205 BHP and 450Nm/332lbs done by http://www.shiftech.be/

The DPF is removed by a Milltek delete pipe.

I went back to shiftech for this problem, they said that one of the sensors was not deep enough in the pipe, so they made some more screw-thread for this and reinstalled the sensor.

Then this problem was gone for a few weeks...
