Horrific accident for poor Alan McNish :o A real shame too, as it looked like he was in it to win it. Also an embarrassing start for the Astons, although I think at least one of them is running again?

nice links btw

Surprised nobody on the outside of the corner was hurt!

Sport Snappers don't count as real people

Rockenfeller has also just had a bad accident. The difference in speed between the different classes is massive!!

I am a nervous wreck. It's emotionally very difficult to watch with the huge speeds and horrific accidents the Audis have suffered. :(

Eurosports Commentator is a horrendous bully and adores the sound of his own voice, Very rude and belittling of his Co-commentator. Poor show :(

On the plus side, the cars look gorgeous, now if only the drivers looked like Paul Newman (never was a Steve McQueen fan) :)

I saw the accident and thought the worst when it was happening, proves how safe these super cars are.

Well done Audi!!

Whoo hoo. Well done Audi. Best race in years. Now if only they can find a Paul Newman. Anyone know if George Clooney can race?

A big BOO to Peugeot for blatant cheating and nearly running the winning car off the circuit. Should have been black fagged. Here's a clip of the Peugeot (4 laps down and Blue flagged) doing the dirty on the winning car.
