Amazing save at a reported 150mph at the TT

Featured Replies

I don't know if any of you guys read about the recent Scooby demolition of the 21 year old TT record in a car, but Mark Higgins did it recently. What wasn't so wildly reported was he had a massive 'moment' on his second attempt. He takes a flying start, as is permitted in these things and about a minute in, while flat our in 6th gear........... well follow this link and watch the two embedded videos. :o :o :o

he`s got some bottle :o

and elasticated rubber underwear i suspect. His passenger was either the coolest guy in the world. or scared beyond his natural comprehension :D

Was a close one, not as good as this navigators response though.

I think having watched that clip, the chap in the TT video perhaps didn't realise quite how serious things where :D

He was brilliant holding that.

That was just down the road from me.

I was stood just before the skid at that petrol station cross roads, and my god it was shifting coming past me there!

I've seen this quite a few times now but each time I watch it I still wonder how on earth he managed to hold that, you can see from the in car view that he needs massive amounts of steering lock which he quickly applies to correct it each time and does it perfectly without the car clipping anything at the side. The delayed reaction is a good insight to a racing driver's mind as he just seems to almost automatically correct the slides, drive on as normal and then only realises afterwards how bad that could have been.
