My car on 5 spokes, to help Ross sell his.

Featured Replies

Well, I've got my five spokes on today after initially worrying I'd left my inserts in the boxes I took to the tip to get rid of. :o They were in my toolbox all along. Been a very sunny, but freezing cold day, so took some time out to swap over my alloys. Got new bolts with these wheels too, so applied some copper grease too. Here's my little gallery of my car, as it looks now. I sort of like these 5 spokes a lot, and I hope these piccies help Ross sell his wheels too. (see "for sale and wanted" forum)

Excuse the tacky RS fuel cover. :o Its kind of "stuck" if you excuse the pun. :D

Front right wheel, note ickle red TDI and stone chips to bumper. The chips give it some character I feel. :)

Rear left. Note exhaust now moved to meet new bumper (was a little bit fat to fit RIGHT in the gap) and my dodgy filling of the badge holes. Is quite smooth actually now, so just need to get her into a bodyshop for a lick of paint. Note colour difference with bumper too - not too bad, but might see if bodyshop can give that a coat of paint too, to match it up.

Front left. The angle of sun gives this a little arty feel I think. :)

Looks good. I like the TDi down side.

I have to admit the TDI down the side was as a slight result of being conned on ebay. :grumpy: Bought a "NEW ALL RED TDI BADGE" turned out to be half the size of the regular VAG ones... and couldn't tell from the photo... :( So I got another one from the same person for less money, and stuck them on the wings where I had removed the comfort badges. Turned out OK in the end. :)

Looks really smart!

Certainly a bit different to when i last saw it!

Must admit those alloys look top

very nice:D

Looking good Jason.

Cheers Jason, top fella.

Now someone buy these rims!

If ya wanna get technical, the one off barryboys is currently up on blocks, dented, without an engine, doors, or anything as it happens. :P

Thanks for the comments. Someone buy Ross' rims before I get them as spares. :o

It's looking very nice, Jason. How about swopping the side repeaters for the smoked ones fitted to the vRS? Part number is in my Maintenance.

Side repeaters is something I want to change in the long run... Its just the hassle of changing them is a pain - I think you need to remove the front wheel arch liner to get to them?

Been looking at some chromey ones on ebay for

have you got enough Briskoda stickers? You bought a job lot?

jase, may be up for a swap if you want some smoked ones,i personally like the white ones if i can get rid of the orange background, maybe slap an led in ther to get rid of the orange

Car is looking better than ever Jason. Nice work.

Looks well smart

Very smart.Skoda should have looked to get some ideas of what the new sport should have looked like.

Shows how a rather good looking fabia can look sooo good

looking at them again i thikn i prefer the TDI nose to the VRS nose more rounded...

Joel

I personally prefer the vRS front end, looks really agressive, especially side on...

That Fabia looks the mutts nuts! Really nice job. If only the Sport looked more like it...
