Hi All,

Wondering if anyone could confirm the torx bit size needed to remove the bolts holding the seat runners down?

I've got a T50 which fits, and *might* work, but there's quite a bit of play in it and I'd rather not strip end of the teeth of the inside of the bolt head if I can help it!

You can get a cheap full set from most motor factors to fit a socket set

I bought one of these sets a few years back, a very good spend of £5 or so.

That equate to a T65 presumably?

Hmmm, can't find any of those, most sets seem to go up by 10 once you get past T60...

Ta, but I've got loads of the smaller ones from various sets, and that only goes to T40, so wouldn't be big enough for what I need.

Il check for you tomoz mate as up working on the car. I removed my drivers seat the other day but can't remember the size now.

The seat bolts are not actually that tight, once slackened you can turn them with your fingers.

Make sure the key is not in the ignition and remove the fronts first then slide the seats forward to remove the rears

I did wonder why there were 12 points rather than 6... not come across splines before.

Sorry fella I totally forgot to check today but back in tomoz so will confirm size. I had a feeling they were splines but wasn't sure as taken so many things off lol.

Splines also known as triple square.

Door strikers, driveshafts, flywheel...used a fair bit but to be fair not bits you take off everyday normally.

Checked today and Tech1e is spot on and their M10 spline. Sorry for not letting u know soon fella, i have a shocking memory on times :(
