Hi guys,

I've recently had v-maxx coilovers fitted and I've noticed a funny noise when turn off my ignition. It's like the engine is shutting off faster than it used to, pretty much instant and it never used to that. Also it let's out a "growl" at the same time, I'm sure it never used to do that?

I'm wondering if it's just because everything is a lot stiffer now, it might be that?

Check all the connected hoses to the black vacuum box on the drivers side inner wing near the bulkhead end (just to the rear of the O/S top mount for the shock bolts.) Might have knocked something on the black box while changing suspension bits. Other than that, not got a clue.

Something is definitely wrong now, I can hear a noise like I'm dragging something along the road, a scraping sound. I've looked under the car and there isn't anything touching the ground.

The strange thing is I've narrowed it down to only happening when I let my foot off the accelerator as I drive.

I just hope it isn't anything too serious :(

Check your driveshaft to antirollbar clearance

Your drive shaft must be out. As you've disembled everything your drive shaft probably come out.

Turns out my right drop link was sat on the driveshaft!! It's all sorted now, this shouldn't have happened seeing as they are shorter!
