It's actually been OK since the new turbo was fitted probably about 5k miles a go now, but I am *still* on the old map... I'm considering finally getting the map tweaked.

I can't remember the last time it slipped. It seems to slip for a few days, then sort itself out for months.

Personally i wouldn't take the risk, otherwise just leave the mapping as it is.

Down to how you drive more than anything, but I think you'd struggle to be reserved enough to make it last tbh

Generally I go 30mph in 3rd and use all the rev's to 70mph - once up to speed it'll go in to 5th of 6th. It seems to have coped with doing that practically every day since I had the hybrid fitted.

Thus, I figured I might be OK with the OE clutch for a while if I were to get it mapped for the hybrid. I should mention I am not going after crazy power figures and it's an Oscarli map.

It does overboost by 0.2 bar. I think Moggy said getting it remapped would sort that out even if I don't use the extra power?

If you talk to the mappers, maybe they'll do you a torque limited map for now and throw in a free tweak if/when you get the clutch sorted.

I had a slipping clutch that slipped ocassionaly at 173bhp

And i gave it one hard take off in 2nd gear and blew it to smitherenes

Remember it's not BHP that kills it, it's the torque. If you don't want to break it then just have it limited to what it is now. Difference being it will hold that figure for much longer up the band.

2nd gear when i was coming onto an a road from a b road, car was at 15-20mph with clutch down ready to stop, road was clear so lifted clutch back up and gave it some beans = dead clutch

Also done numerous 1/4 mile days, even put a helix and fidanza flywheel in mt tsport, im no buffoon! So will you please get over it...

When you get a 14.4 1/4 on your 190bhp fabia let me know (if the 1/4 miles are as bent as the rolling roads over in ireland you've probably already got a 10 second car!) Lmao
