i thinking of converting to the dark side and fitting SMF and helix kit.

now due to me doing 25k+ a year i am curious to see just how much mileage people have put on this set-up.

also has anyone had any trouble with their gearbox as some people seem to think the SMF causes damage long term to the box.

so could people please comment on the mileage done since the SMF conversion and any problems encoutered.

I did 40k on my 1st one on a helix

20k on my hybrid with a helix

And my tdi golf had 50k with a helix

Only car that ever had gearbox troubles happened on the standard dmf, blew a hole in the end of the box... Take from that what you will
