Why dont you look for a style that on first glance look like spiders, if you put the 205/50/17 on a 8x17 there will be a little stretch bud

Only way you'd get stretch on a standard spider is a 185/35/17. Nankang do one. A 195/40 might have a bit but not a lot.

However its going to look rubbish and handle worse. Stretch is only needed if you're trying to fit a tyre into a small gap.

Seems you can get 205/45/18s mate

they're german made reps and weigh about teh same as spiders tbh. genuines are 7.5" wide so i opted for reps as they were 8"
