retrofit aux connection

Featured Replies

Just wondering if there is any way i can fit a aux lead to my stereo so i can put my mp3 through the car speakers. I have a stream stereo with a 6 cd changer in the boot (if that makes a difference)

Connects2 adapter. Hijacks changer input.

Bit drunk currently so have a search on the forum and nudge me I'd you don't get any m9re info.

doing a quick search on connect 2 aux in it says it uses the cd changer port to provide a 3.5mm jacking port but does that mean you lose the cd changer function?

Search YouTube there is a guide.

That's correct yes, but when you consider the 1000s of CDs you can fit on a decent mp3 player it's not too much of a compromise.

It's fairly plug n play too if you're not that technically-minded.

I *think* the video Martzini's referring to is actually for wiring a socket in to a Stream-mp3, which isn't possible for the basic Stream.
