Tyre Problem

Featured Replies

Hi i have looked at my tyre and have found that the front driver side tyre is worn on the outside but in the middle and inside it is fine, not sure if i can feel a very slight knocking when driving not really sure if it is the hard suspension on the vrs or not.

All other tyres seem to be fine anyone possibly know what this could be thanks

That's a tracking problem isn't it - i had a integra type r that wore out the rears in 8k miles outside 8mm, middle 7, inside 0!

Where the two front tyres put on at the same time?, the reason I ask is because the tyre may have been like that before you had the car and the wear caused by a previous fault. If it has worn differently to the other front tyre it could be camber related as tracking will usually wear both front (or rear) tyres the same ie both on outside or both on inside edge. Best bet is to get a 4 wheel laser alignment done to be sure.

I found this on my octy, it is 100000 miles old though and its not a vrs. I had my tracking checked a couple of times but I've found play on the steering rack that could be causing it?

Strangely enough i discovered premature shoulder wear on my Octy RS 1 day last November....

Then i set off from the Anglesey track day and went home :D

Prices for 4WA....i've seen anything up to
