Hi Peter, thanks for the reply there. I don't have any pictures handy and to be honest they wouldn't be very flattering at the moment. The car has been stored in a shed for the past 10 years or so, so it needs a good power-washing to show it at its best. It's complete apart from the outer sills which I cut out partially some years ago and which need replacing obviously enough now. I do have Estelle outer sill panels which could be cut to fit, but the inner sills also need work, as does the rear driver-side wheel arch. I see that the parts are available on-line at Jorily Automotive here. Other than that the car is in good condition. I bought it on a whim from a guy in the NE of England and went over on the ferry from Belfast to bring it back, and then never drove it. I did subsequently get another Rapid, the yellow convertible that was owned by the guy from Practical Classics, and use dthat for a while. I've toyed with the idea of getting the necessary work done to the car to get it back in working condition but to be honest my wife has issued me with an ultimantum to reduce the collection, so it's the blue Rapid that has to go. If you're interested in giving it a good home I'd love to discuss it with you. It's too good and too rare to scrap, and I'm not sure that UK-based enthusiats would bother with the hassle of getting it back to there from Ireland. Alan [if you want to discuss it directly my email is amyler at eircom.net or drop me a message via here of course]
