Illumination setting on bolero

Featured Replies

When I change this setting it appears to nothing at all! Anyone know what it is meant to do? Maybe I'm missing something

Anyone?

Are you referring to a brightness setting, or is it "illumination" in the settings menu?

Based on my experiences with the Stream, I'd say it could simply be what illumination it shows when the unit's switched off, or what illumination shows when it's switched off and you switch your lights on.

Edit: from instruction manual here: https://mediaportal.skoda-auto.com/resource/documentation/manuals/en/Superb/06-2010/Radio/B6_Superb_Bolero_CarRadio.pdf

Pg 15-16 would appear to backup my suggestion.

In case you never worked this one out, i had the same quesstion for my Audience h/u. Now i've just put a Bolero in my pre-fl and saw it has the same option, I knew what to look for.

drum roll please..............

it illuminates the ring around the two rotary knobs. That's it!!

It has to do with illumiation of the Bolero during day. At night don´t turn on lights to see dif.

One setting will light up the 2 turning knobs only like blackspaven has said
