Managed to reverse and go another way, but anyway the Vrs was pretty good considering the sports tyres...at least it was once i turned off the traction control. For about 10seconds i couldnt understand why i had a 0bhp car :rolleyes: .

My mate had the same in his seat leon, had to switch off the TC in the snow as it wouldn't let him pull away

Surely, if you're getting excessive wheelspin, you're actually not going anywhere near as fast as the speedo is reading?

Seems to me the traction control sux if it allows you to get that kinda speed without physical movement :(
