Which wheels

Featured Replies

I have a chance of getting some new wheels for my 1.6mpi and seek advice as to which of the following would fit/be better without lowering.

1. VW EOS Chicago's 18" - front tyres are 225's an the rears are 245's the profile is 40

2. 18" Zeniths with 225/400 ZR 18 92Y

3. something else (suggestions welcome)

there is the newer Neptune 18" on 225/40 but I am partial to the Zeniths when 18"

Zeniths are good looking wheels but I prefer the Neptunes. I think you may have issues with rubbing fitting 245 on the rear though.

So the zeniths as above would fit no problem then? looks like that may be the ones to go for, cant afford/find neptunes.

Yep, the zeniths will fit no problem, tyre size for them is 225 40 on the 18" or 225 45 on the 17's.

I hear what your saying re: neptunes, been looking for a set for months with no luck. :(

although I have Neptunes, I dont consider them to be any nicer than the Zeniths
