It worth selling a head with some slight cracks in?

Featured Replies

Some people offer metal stitching available.

Anyone had any experience with this?

It can be welded cant it? At least I think thats was Ali was showing me on some engine a while back.

Matt

As long as you describe it accurately, a Fleabay listing is likely to yield more than scrap value.

Stitiching and/or crack welding as repairs may be possible, but you need to show the head to a specialist to get a proper answer to that one.

Scrap value is probably a £1 lol

Think ebay is the best option with a few detailed pics.

You got any pic's of the cracks mate?

I've stitched a few head's and blocks over the year's it's fairly easy to do just depends upon the location and the amount of damage caused.
