whoo! it worked

put [/img] around the links so they show up on here.

  • Author

was wonderin how ya did that. sorry what ya mean around the links?

  • Author

cool, sussed it mate cheers

yep what jrw said if you use the IMG tags or just click on the insert picture icon when putting the post together the pictures become visble in the thread rather than opening a new window

However I' m pretty sure you can only put a max of 20 pictures in a single post

reet there ya go. thats alot easier to see now.

Nice car Mike.

Can't wait until everything has arrived so I can get it booked in for fitting.

I'm still waiting for my springs and shocks to arrive from

Gernany...

You and I are practically holding hands through the world of

modding a black Fabia. :D

By the end of next week mine should look about the same as yours.

Wish I had the know how to fit all the new stuff to mine.

But it's having a timing belt and waterpump as well as a full service on top. £££ Ouch!

Seeing yours next to a standard height one is confirmation for me that

a 25mm drop is low enough for me.

Gotta dash my calipers need to come out of the oven (Coat #7  )

Yeah mate 25 is perfect I think. What shocks ya gettin?

  • Author

Get some pics of yours up too mate if ya can, gr666

Please put your t shirt back on! Lol :D looks really nice, looks lower than what 25mm usually does

  • Author

Lol that's not me! I was actually suprised how low it looked too

Very impressed with your car mate. Loving the drop it makes such a difference

Nice looking car bud, the drop is looking awesome - mine is dropped 25mm on Eibachs but I'm sure its not as low as your's, Its never been pictured alongside a factory example though so maybe it is.

How much they setting ya back? Be interesting to hear how good un known brands are

Does anyone know how much the splitter costs these days?

And how much did your 312s discs with calipers and carriers set you back?

Edited by wilsy7

£38 quid!!

£38 quid!!

Frig fairly steep for a bout of plastic lol

How much they setting ya back? Be interesting to hear how good un known brands are

They are £337 plus shipping at DPM

I did quite a bit of research before I bought them and they are far from unknown.

They are often used by the bmw, vauxhall and audi crowd and I searched for days

and couldn't find one bad review. Also very big in the US.

The kit is specifically designed for a fabia, and they're German made by a firm thats been making

springs for over 90 years. The shock internals are KW so I am led to believe so I'm expecting

good things from them. As soon as they arrive she's going in for fitting.

Can't wait..
