Has anybody got the roller sunblind for their Octavia the one in the Skoda accesories brochure with part number kdc609004.

How does it fix to the parcel shelf and to the glass itself. How is it different from the factory fit one. Is it any good combined with the 2 side ones.

I have this on ours as well as the side blinds on the rear doors.

The roller body attaches just before the hinged part of the parcel shelf, and attaches to the plastic trim either side of the 3rd brakelight by 2 hooks.

If you buy from a dealer, then price includes fitting as they wont/shouldnt sell as just parts. If you've bought a 2nd hand one, then a dealer should be able to print the install manual which has the mounting templates you'll need once you've removed the boot trim so you can drill. Hooks and screws are about £1.50 (3 part numbers as handed), but are a PITA to get the trim off, and back on again. At least ours was!

Not sure about mounting to the shelf, as I got mine attached to a shelf already. Door blinds are easy to fit with some spring clips.
