front upper strut brace

Featured Replies

I've been considering getting an upper strut brace and reading into it the seat sport oneis the usual way to go. Looking on ebay I'll be looking at nearly 70 quid! Which is quite a lot!

However i have seen on DPM that they do a Forge upper Strut brace for just under 60 quid!

Has anyone got any experience of using Forge strut braces?

Thanks

I didn't realise The forge was cheaper but you wont have any problems with the forge at all as it's a really really make and do lots of other things too! I personally prefer a forge over the seat and I would imagine it's better too? What does everyone else think?

Thanks mate :-)

Thanks mate :-)

Your welcome :)

Think the forge is adjustable and like the rarb why would you want somethin that is there to be ridged to provide strength to be adjustable? Me personaly think it would be a weak point and could wear after a bit. For me I'd get the un adjustable seat one any day of the week

iv used a seat one, (borrowed a mates for a week) and it stiffens the front up a treat.

If i dont sell up at the end of the yr then there is 2 mods i will be adding to the car.

Jabba RARB + Seat front brace bar.

Mine's adjustable and has been solid for the past 6 years or so. I wouldn't worry about it being a weak point.
