Just thought id share my VRS with you guys!

Not one for the purests on here but it was never planned to be that way, infact it was never planned to be anything more than standard but you get hold of a few bits here and there and then the bug gets you! lol

Just got these!

996 Carerra Alloys two pairs of fronts!

8x18 with 215 40 18 tyres

Adjusted the suspension to suit!

Nice ride!

The Car originally started out as a 130PD diesel!

But sinse then its gone through a few changes!

Its had a full RS Interior fitted minus the carpet! YUK!, RS steering wheel, gearknob and trim

Obviously the RS spoiler, rear skirt, and front skirt, full stainless steel exhaust with de-cat, SPAX RSX coilovers,Stage 1 re-map, uprated clutch with new DMF, Rs brakes all round with Porsche 996 Carrera Front calipers with ferodo DS3000 pads, and Pagid rears, two pairs of Original Porsche Carerra front alloys(8x18),Polly bushed suspsion and dogbone, RS anti roll bar, headlight washers and a few minor other tweaks that escape me now lol

And to be fair its F ing quick chuffed to bits with the way its turned out

Next on the cards is a full inder seal and then poss 4x4!!!

Like a pedal set, tinted side indicators, and crome door pins! but apart from that i think ive got it all

I thought so, wasnt sure at first but theyve grown on me! lol

There dont seem to be many Porsche wheels on Octavias, a few turbo twists here and there but not much else unlike the Seat and VW Golf scene where thay are all over the place.

Couldnt resist them anyway, they were a bargin plus how often do you find two pairs of fronts?!

Sounds fun, but it'll never be an RS! (Yes I'm a purist!) For the amount of money you've spent, you could have just bought a proper RS. And if you say you didn't want a real RS, then why put the badges on your car....

Anyway!

Obviously we only got the 4x4 body with the 1.8T engine in the UK. But I know they had the 4x4 body with the 1.9TDI and 2.0 petrol engines in mainland Europe, so you gonna try to import a left hooker?

No its the VRS gear knob and gaitor but with the PD130 6 speed top

Just changed it over as its the same shape!

The only other thing ive not got is the clocks for obvious reasons!
