Silver strippy things

Featured Replies

I would quite like to buy those silver strips that fit on the intakes on the front bumper but looking on the Allams website they say two other parts are required to fit these, tried emailing them but surprise surprise no reply  (why do a lot of companies say contact us and when you do zero zilch) so I was wondering what these extra parts were and if they are included in price or extra. I know a few of you have fitted them and perhaps you could enlighten me. Thanks very much for any help :)

Just Glue IME - google 'Tiger Seal' - that's what you need!

Thanks Robin, I suppose the part numbers quoted are just for adhesive or the like, just not clear what they refer to or any extra cost.:)

Andy

I just used a bit of fine sandpaper and the araldite rapid in my tool box.

They're well and truely stuck on.

Just fitted two of these (bought as a package 2nd hand but unused) with the rear bumper protector (and 2 mirror covers - not really required as they are the same colour as the existing ones) - BUT... fitted these and the rear bumper protector with a trick I learned from somebody..

I run a line of super glue along the sticky foam pads, then VERY carefully press them into position, hold for a short while and they won't move, the 'official' glue is supposed to be left secured with tape for 24 hours to cure - my way it's set in 10 mins ...simples...
