The Dubmeister pressed steel plates are UK road legal. :)

I have one on the back of my car

The fact you have one don't prove anything - not sure whether your smiley recognises that fact or not.

The Dubmeister german font ones certainly AREN'T road legal as far as I can determine (they themselves describe them as "show plates") but they do also supply pressed metal UK legal plates with the mandatory font...

beat me to it jason :)

Just to reiterate:

German License Plates are NOT legal on British registered cars on U.K. roads.

All our plates are sold strictly for show use, and for using off public roads.

You will have seen many cars with German Plates on (The M20 is full of them - but they normally are German Cars), but you take the risk of a £30 fine if stopped by the police, but no points on your license yet!

The above is for UK cars only, please check in your country what is and what is not Legal before ordering.

If they use German fonts then they aren't UK road legal, you will be stopped eventually, and it is wrong to misguide people with this incorrect information.

The best VRS plate was originally bought by Shifty (Dave), and then went onto Harry_vRS I think.

WH05 VRS.

ive had h13 xly since i was 18, 13 is my lucky number and my surname is huxley. i like it :)

With regard to the illegal plates, the Germany font are illegal as stated and so is incorrectly spaced plates, you can receive a on the spot fpn £60 and if the copper wants to do a proper job the can write off to the DVLA to report it to them. If the DVLA gets 2 or more reports they CAN revoke the registration even if it's a private plate so therefore you'll have lost all that lovely cash you spent of buying it.

Like I said, the DVLA can revoke it but I've not heard of a case where they have but just thought I'd let you know, is it worth the risk?

Ive had a german pressed plate for as long as I can remember on my cars. Never been pulled for them. The police around where I live had more serious matters to attend to. But yes if they wanted to they could give me a 60 quid fine. Ill happily pay it for the amount of time the plates been on the car haha.
